I'm Raye Ann, the artist behind Raye Ann Pyrography. I work in fire.

Pyrography is destruction by nature. A heated tool moves across the wood, and every line removes what was. What remains is made possible only because of what was burned away. That tension is what draws me to the work, and it's taught me to move slowly, with respect for the material.

I specialize in original pieces and one of one commissions. Nothing is repeated. Each piece is guided by vision rather than trend, and made to endure beyond it.

My work holds story the way wood holds memory. It's meant to be lived with, kept, and passed down.
